Sent to die
from the skies into their graves
Clouds of bodies lying
on this barren earth
Pale sky drawing
down the mountains towards the seas
The land is bleak and dry
and the corvus are the cure for the disease,
the harbingers of Death
For the weakest Man
Let the flames
and the fire down your throat
And the fire burns no more
For the weakest Man
As I lay upon this soil
and look up to the sky
one million eyes staring at me
Am I dead or will I die?
Herald of death approaches with a message in hand:
“I am patiently awaiting in the coldest, blackest night
for the last candle burning, for its life to end at last.
And I talk to all the sounds the wind once carried
for the solitude is harder to bear all alone.”
And I rise from this bleak and dry land
I leave myself behindand cleanse all the wounds I have had
And I drop my axe embedded in dust and I drop my armor and my shield
For to pull the bones out of my way
I will need both hands
As I lay upon this soil
and look up to the sky
Am I dead?
